By storing and reusing rainwater, customers may continue to save on water consumption costs, which are likely to increase in the future.

Upon rainwater tank installation, Award Plumbing will provide the necessary documentation to enable the customer to obtain the water rebate in accordance with Sydney Water’s policy.

Award Plumbing can supply and install rainwater tanks of any type and style to suit site constraints, budget, or aesthetic preferences.

When a site inspection is undertaken, Award Plumbing will assess the practicalities of water tank installation while explaining Sydney Water and Council requirements.

There are numerous types, sizes, and styles of water tanks, including corrugated color bond metal, polyethylene tanks, concrete tanks, and fibre glass tanks, available in various shapes such as round and slimline.

Alternatively, bladder tanks can be installed under elevated decks, and water storage solutions can be incorporated into elevated walls or fences.

Additionally, various accessories can be installed, including water pressure pumps, pump covers, filter bags, and back flow prevention devices.

Award Plumbing’s representative will provide brochures detailing different rainwater tanks and accessories during the inspection. A project quotation will then be issued to the client.

In addition, schools may be eligible for a State Government Grant to assist with subsidising costs for rainwater tank installation and associated works.
